How our collaboration with Ferring improved access to fertility services

Breaking down the
barriers to fertility

12% of women encounter obstacles when conceiving. Couples often struggle to obtain accurate, specific information or establish a relationship with a clinic that’s right for them. But the longer couples wait to seek out fertility help, the worse their chances of conceiving become.

Ferring, global leaders in reproductive medicine, wanted to break down the barriers to fertility. Their ambition was simple: to bring couples closer to parenthood. To achieve this, they needed to address the issues preventing people getting help at an earlier stage.

Driving change
through care

When collaborating with Ferring to achieve their goal, we led first and foremost with empathy. We conducted extensive research to better understand the experiences of parents and the challenges they faced. With that under our belt, we generated and tested a number of ideas that could potentially deliver Ferring’s ambition. Ultimately, we landed on Fertility House Calls: an information bank which provides custom guidance and consultation for couples. By taking the patient’s needs and location into account, patients are matched with a clinic that’s right for them, while accessing reliable information relevant to their situation.

An essential companion
for couples

Today, Fertility House Calls is a nationwide digital solution across the US continually expanding its outreach. Couples can now access reliable information, bespoke consultations, and specialized care at the most critical stages of their fertility journey.
Ferring is continuing to bring couples closer to parenthood, and make sure, no matter the outcome, that couples are no longer facing the journey alone.
