Monte excels when working with organizations to reinvent their approach to product strategy. After starting his career in energy efficiency, he joined Lean Startup Co., where he cut his teeth working with Eric Ries, creator of the Lean Startup methodology and one of the leaders of modern entrepreneurial management.

While at Lean Startup Co. he led a variety of programs helping clients to deploy innovation and experimentation strategies at scale. From the Department of Defense to Tetra Pak, he partnered with leaders of government agencies and Fortune 1000s to design and implement innovation programs that helped modernize their organizations.

At Board of Innovation, Monte leads a variety of innovation projects ranging from concept development and accelerators, to open innovation programs and portfolio management strategy.

Heitor Varvaki

Sr. Business Designer, Board of Innovation

Heitor’s main focus is on business and strategic design, consumer experience and design research. Supporting teams and organisations in developing innovation strategies and moving through the challenges of shaping, testing and bringing these solutions into the real world.

Experience in the development, prototyping and acceleration of new products and services; qual and quant market research; innovation strategy and management for large organisations in Europe, Latin America and Africa; with a focus on the FMCG and Financial sectors.
