What is this for?
Use this tool to translate your understanding of the patient into a well-crafted behavioral challenge statement. This template is critical to ensure proper evaluation of the problem space and a successful establishment of the intervention space.
The Behavioral Challenge Statement Builder tool is designed to connect learnings from behavioral design research into a useful statement to help scope the intervention space. Without it, you run the risk of creating solutions that might disregard the behavioral aspects to a person’s activities and decision making.
Prioritize the patient decisions from the journey map tool based on the importance of the decision and the level of support required to inform the decision
Identify the intervention trigger (capability, opportunity, or motivation) required for each critical decision
Draft the behavioral design challenge statement based on the provided template
Create statements for each prioritized decision and use these as input to the design phase of the intervention space
