Since we’ve launched the first version of the Business Model Blocks about a year and half ago, we have been surprised by the enthusiasm and the number of people that started to use the blocks to visualize their business models. With all the feedback that we received from users, it was about time for an upgrade! Over the last two months we’ve reworked the initial 10 blocks to a brand-new set of 16 building blocks (thanks Tijl Piryns for the design!). You can have a look at ‘the making of’. On the level of stakeholders we added four blocks: My Organization, Supplier, Government, and Non-profit. On the level of exchangeable objects we added: Data, Rights, and Credits.
