What is this for?
The feedback grid is a tool designed to help you structure the information gathered from user testing. Whether used during the interview or after, it allows you to visualize the results of your test. Try to fill the grid while you still have a fresh memory of what happened, it will help you identify details that you might forget.
After you complete all the tests, compare the different grids or merge them into a single one to spot patterns and identify next steps.
Start by identifying the name of your interviewee. It will help you later when you compare the insights.
Start with the quadrant ‘What worked?’ and fill it with observations and quotes from the interviewee. Be specific and to the point.
Repeat for the other quadrants. Don’t shy away from criticism, this is your opportunity to extract the learnings!
Cluster the feedback from the other interviews, either by comparing the feedback grids next to each other or by creating another one just for the patterns.
Now take action: What should you keep? What should you change? Are there new assumptions that have come up from confusions? Discuss your next steps
