Toyota’s Japanese HQ has a foresight unit dedicated to mapping out long-term future scenarios. This is an essential component in defining their strategy for the decade ahead. To build it, they rely heavily on input from the different regions in which Toyota operates. Together with the European HQ and their foresight team, Board of Innovation took on the challenge of documenting a broad spectrum of shifts and scenarios that could impact the European market, namely in mobility.
