Through an intensive four-week program, we provided this leading biopharmaceutical company with crucial insights, valuable best practices, and a toolkit to elevate the impact of their future product launches.

Patient centricity and a focus on meeting the jobs-to-be-done of patients, HCPs and payers have profoundly changed the face of the pharmaceutical industry.

The rigid, scaling-focused multi-year plans that once served as models for launch excellence are now a thing of the past. Today, it’s all about navigating ever-accelerating market changes and meeting the expectations of the market ecosystem efficiently and with the right focus.

Cross-division co-creation

This is where Board of Innovation stepped in. We developed a four-week co-creation program with in-house AstraZeneca reps from all therapeutic areas and functions: commercial, medical, market access, etc.

Through critical three-hour sessions – strategic sprints, as we like to call them – we explored practical, simple and impactful tools and practices aimed at increasing launch impact.

Boosting product launch success

The program culminated in a toolkit that advanced the agile mindset of launch teams, providing an action-oriented framework to strengthen their current planning activities.

Among other things, we developed a tool to improve launch success with a set of tactics and strategies. These are fit both for cross-functional generative sessions and for developing specific solutions to particular challenges.
