In 2013, Thomson Reuters initiated a strategic plan that puts innovation at the very core of the corporate growth strategy. As a result of this drive, the Catalyst Fund was founded in 2014. Any of the 60,000 employees of Thomson Reuters have the chance to propose innovative business concepts.
The most valuable business concepts move through the Catalyst Fund and access to funds. A panel comprised of the CEO and five executives comes together once a month to listen to pitches and evaluate the ideas presented.
Board of Innovation was called to coach the members of the most valuable projects to enhance the strength of the business propositions and empower all the participants with intrapreneurial capabilities.
