Who are we working for?

We’re solving ambitious innovation challenges with corporates and ventures around the world. Over the last year, we’ve partnered with organizations in Europe, Asia, and America. Explore some of our work for corporates, ventures, and government…

Why are we working together?

New technologies such as e-readers, 3D-printing, and augmented reality, are changing entire sectors and are in essence crossing industry boarders. When the rules of the game are changing in your sector (or need to be changed!), we need get moving.

1. Corporates & multinationals

eBay, local + mobile business modelling

How will the future of local commerce look like? What if you bring location-based services, mobile payment, and social networks in the mix? We believe this an extremely interesting scene to watch in the coming years! At eBay we’ve explored different business models to connect local businesses with their customers. With a team from different departments and countries, we generated and evaluated a range of business model scenarios.

Carglass, 5-month strategic innovation project

What’s your next generation of products, services, and business models? A crucial question for any business. Carglass is the world’s no. 1 for vehicle glass, but looking to the future with open sight. In a 5-month project, we’ve analyzed the company’s current business model and defined strict innovation goals. With a creative team of 15 people from all different departments, we looked into trends, new technologies, assets, and so on, to generate 200+ new business ideas. Those creative ideas were refined to 3 mini-business cases as presented to their executive team.
“Board of Innovation has delivered a surprising, very well structured and productive approach to our ‘innovation challenge’. Their strengths? A good planning (that was strictly followed!), very short response times, and a continuous focus, in combination with a pleasant way of taking us out of our comfort zone and letting us think ‘out of the box’.”

Caroline Ameloot, M&S Director

“We have enjoyed working with the young and motivated team of BOI on various entrepreneurial projects. I have appreciated very much their fresh approach to disruptive innovative thinking, always combined with keeping top of mind how to build a sound and viable business model. Furthermore, at the time the project was on the verge to be launched they kept applying all their knowledge and network to help transform the idea to a real business.”

Mission-e-Motion, 1y project on e-mobility concepts

Mission-e-motion’s goal is to bring new mobility to life via co-creation! Our near and far future will include new forms of mobility (electric cars, car sharing, peer-to-peer sharing,…), and a new world around that (city infrastructure, different time spending,…). There’s a lot of talk about for example electrical cars, but there’s a long road ahead. During a 1-year project, we benchmarked 20 co-creation and e-mobility platforms, studied the viability of different business models, and explored different concepts to bring e-mobility to life.
